Anna Wilcox commissioned me to write several plays for BackStory, an organization she founded years ago. She has since moved to Oklahoma and recently spear-headed drama efforts at OCU. She decided to use one of my plays—Master Cat.
She directed several college students for the play, which is geared toward children. This was the first time a play of mine has been produced outside of Colorado. I was also thrilled when I heard Ethan White (a previous student of mine) got to play one of the leads.
The play is based on Puss in Boots and includes two original songs.
